Explore London as it looked 100 years ago with Google Street View

Ever wondered what London’s Piccadilly looked like before all of neon lights and enormous digital screens? A new interactive map of England’s capital, created by Expedia, lets you see for yourself.

Photographs taken up to 100 years ago have been superimposed onto modern day Google Street view scenes of 14 locations around London, from Clapham and Brixton to Harrods and Covent Garden.

The map lets you see just how much as changed, and what hasn’t. See for yourself the original pieces of architecture that still remain today…
