A lot of energy is used from lighting motorways, even in the early hours of the morning when next to no one is on the road.
As the last part of our four part series on modern highways, we present Smart Highway’s interactive light system.
With motion sensors attached, the lights only turn on when traffic approaches saving a masses of energy and funds as opposed to continuous 24 hour lighting.
The pure definition of simple but effective!
