World View space balloon completes record breaking test flight

World View Enterprises Inc. have brought commercial space flight one giant leap closer. The company has conducted a successful test flight of its space balloon, that it hopes will take tourists to the edge of space as early as 2016.

The helium-filled balloon, steered by an aerodynamic parachute called a parafoil, reached 102,200 feet during the flight, breaking the record for the highest altitude reached by a parafoil.
