I have a few questions so I feel I’m being a bit cheeky and sticking them all in one go but I think they’re good and I’m afraid I’ll forget, hope that’s ok! πŸ™‚

What precisely happens on invasion of a pathogen to cause the production of histamine and why are only some people allergic to some things?

What muscles do we use to sneeze?

Why, when approaching the speed of light, do objects gain mass not velocity?

Why is it only mammals yawn and why do they?

When a fundamental particle and it’s anti-particle collide they “disappear” as my physics teacher like to say. Why? And how? I’m pretty sure he means that they turn into energy but I’m equally unhappy with that.

I’d really appreciate anyone getting back to me on any of these and thanks for emailing the newsletter! Let me know if any of these have been asked or discussed before, I missed a fair few issues much to my dismay πŸ™ definitely going to have to subscribe!

Here are some of my questions πŸ™‚

Both Infrared and Microwave bands are invisible to the human eye. Then how are IR and microwave images from remote sensing satellites printed? How do they substitute the wavelenghts?

Does Potassium Iodide Protect People from Radiation Leaks?

    Thanks πŸ™‚

Why does undeliverable mail take so long to come back to me? I sent out a mailshot in December, and I am still getting lots of returns (sent back from the post office, not the company) over 4 months later! What happens to letters before I get them back?
    Many thanks,
