Meet the How It Works team at Bournemouth Air Festival

This year the Bournemouth Air Festival is set to be the biggest and best multi-day airshow extravaganza yet seen in the UK, with a smorgasbord of aerial awesomeness including displays by the Red Arrows, Blades and Breitling Wingwalkers. In addition, the crème-de-la-crème of the British Armed Forces will be in residence, with demonstrations of Royal Marine beach assaults, a Battle of Britain memorial flight, an interactive Commando Display Team Weapons Dome and tours of HMS Tyne all available to attendees. There’s a cavalcade of military and civilian hardware on offer, with a Spitfire, Lancaster Bomber, Hurricane, Tornado and an Avro Vulcan all performing, to name but a few. Throw in over 2.4km (1.5 miles) of trading space on Bournemouth’s sunny seafront and even a dedicated How It Works stand, and this becomes the only place to be from 18-21 August.

The Bournemouth Air Show 2011 is set to be so fantastic, the entire How It Works team are descending down from Imagine towers to participate. At the How It Works stand, attendees will be greeted with the best and most informative articles on the show’s hardware, with large displays featuring cutaways of the aircraft and a special 16-page mini magazine packed with entertaining facts and detailed aeronautical information. There’s also the chance to win an iPad 2 and ask us questions about the magazine or the show. Visitors to the How It Works stand will have the ability to purchase the current issue of the magazine, as well as back issues and our growing portfolio of bookazines and annuals, including the How It Works Book Of Amazing Technology. Be sure to mark the 18-21 August in your calendar and head on down to the coast for a weekend of amazing aerial adventures!
