NASA’s Cassini spacecraft sees sunlight on Titan’s oceans

The spacecraft Cassini, which has been mapping Saturn for a decade, has sent home an amazing picture of sunlight glinting off Kraken Mare, the largest sea on Titan.

This is the first time we have been able to photograph both polar seas at the same time and the spectacular nature of the sunlight’s reflection, known as a specular reflection, makes it even more stunning.
