Sinkhole swallows Florida!

Well, not quite all of Florida but it was of huge proportions. This massive collapse in 1981 was 107 metres (350 feet) across and 23 metres (75 feet) deep. It swallowed two streets and caused £2.4 million ($4 million) worth of damage!
