SmartMat interactive yoga mat helps you perfect your pose

Yoga can be difficult to learn without guidance from a trained instructor, but now you can practice your downward facing dog and lotus pose at home on your own with the new SmartMat. This intelligent yoga mat uses pressure sensors to determine your balance and alignment, and then provides real-time instructions and feedback via a smartphone/tablet app, allowing you to choose between voice commands or visual tips if you’re in a class.

Simply lying down on the SmartMat before you start allows it to calibrate your Ape Index (ratio/length of torso), and then you can input more information about your height, weight, gender and age so that it can give you accurate, personalised advice and help you achieve the perfect pose.
