Grandson attempts to break grandfather’s underwater record
Between 1 June and 2 July, Fabian Cousteau will be attempting to emulate his famous grandfather Jacques-Yves Cousteau by spending 31 days under water, exploring the depths of the ocean.
If he completes the challenge, he will have beaten Jacques’ record by one day, a record that was set 50 years ago.
He is going to be broadcasting the entire adventure online so we can watch him and his team in action, where they hope to discover a new wealth of knowledge on the ocean floor.
