Demo Day takes place at schools across the country on 17 March 2016!

British Science Week 2016 runs from 11 to 20 March, with fun events and activities taking place all over the country to encourage people of all ages to get involved with science, technology, engineering and maths. As well as local events and Demo Day in schools, there are also loads of competitions, quizzes and activity packs to keep you entertained on the British Science Week website, and you can even get involved with some citizen science projects, which this year are all about bats!

Here at How It Works, we’re also getting involved with the fun and will be posting lots of cool science projects and articles on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages all week. We’re also giving you the chance to save 10% on loads of science magazines and bookazines from the ImagineShop until 20 March 2016. Use the code SCIENCE16 to apply the discount to any How It Works, All About Space, World of Animals and All About History products, plus the Drones and Can a Cow Jump? bookazines. You can also expand your science knowledge by downloading our complete guides to all-things biologychemistry and physics onto your digital device, or discover the science of superheroes and much, much more by picking up the latest issue of How It Works.

And of course, don’t forget to let us know how you’re celebrating British Science Week by posting your photos and comments on Facebook and Twitter!
